Re: MDI Application form - 24-10-2004, 03:38 PM

Hey people,
I have a problem with the online application. Been trying to update it since the past 1 week from various different places. Tried the cafe, office, home... Have even tried updating it at odd hours in the night, to ensure net-traffic is not the cause.... nothing works.
It always fails to update my info ! Throws up some html error .

Any idea how this can be resolved ??? I need help soon....
Cheers

Another Q. How can you apply for both the programmes online with the same registration ? Is it possible ? Or do we have to register with 2 different id's for that ?

Dude,
Jus checked the work ex column it asks you to fill in the dates "from" and "to" and dates available include the year 2004.
about the hobbies thing, i see that you can fill only state/national level..which personally is unjustified..don't worry though it should not count for shortlisting...if you don't have anything substantial anyways...baki..at the interview stage if you have done something worth mentioning...it depends on you how you lead the interviewers to those questions...so my advise is give those columns a miss...
Importantly aim at getting a high CAT Score...
Best of Luck..

Cheers,
Raj.

Need specific clarifications::

1> In "frm & to" work ex column, it shows year b/w 1992 to 2000 only for selection... wat to do ? Also it asks for work ex in years .... so if tis 7 months in one comp n 15 months in the other, how do i show tat ?
(ONE + ONE ?? )

2> In awards/prizes and even hobbies col, one has to choose national/state level only. . So general TP hobbies or coll level/company level prizes can't be mentioned ??

Hey ppl...

Joining in with Raj to solve any queries regarding MDI...

About the online applications... guess you must be aware that the deadlines have been extended both for online and offline applications...

Also, the amount for the draft is probably 1200/- (just check it up on the MDI website - under the specific program under Admissions).

Any other doubts regarding specifics of any course and/or life @ MDI... just shoot !

Cheers !!!

Samit
