thing to expose the truth about SP.

hey hey hey.....
SPJ is a gud college & pays a lot of stress on workex & values... dont know wht infuriated u so much to make an opnion like this...
if this is bcoz of the updation of cat no's... tht is handeled by admin guys which r paid no more than 5-6k & are just 12th/Bsc pass... dont deny tht the process doesnot have flaws & defintely it is one of the areas SPJ mgmt shud look into but wht it is to do with the quality of students in SPJ...
the college has proved its worth by consistently appearing in top 10 colleges for atleast past 6 yrs (prior to tht i never knew abt SPJ)...

goin by ur rule, u may like to advice against IIMs also... admission process in IIMs is also not clear...... a freshy getting a call from 4 & another guy with 2yr workex not even gettin one...

SPJ is a gud college & ur company may miss gud talented mgrs by not coming to SPJ...

ya...SPJain is a really good college...

and they r the only one who gives call without CAT score...they gives values to acads, work ex, essays...its thousand times better than many other colleges....

and just because we r not getting the call(me too in the same boat buddy, don't take it personally)...we can't say its all bakwas...

even I m in a big IT company which is a recruiter at SP....

just keep ur finger crossed and wait for the call man...all the best...

yes apart from this admissions chaos, i too had
been impressed by SPJain.
would really wish to be a part of it.
at least some institute is there which is able to realise
the relevance of work exp for an MBA degree

check page 18 & 19 of this thread...some people have got the calls (ya for the last round)...

I called them up yesterday and got to know that everything will be final by today evening...so let us see...

I guess apart form Praveen ,Direstraits and one more no ne on the forum has been shortlisted yet..so by tom morning we can expect a deluge of calls ppl(Hopefully )

only 1 person has got a call for int @ Mumbai ...but then he posted his form long b4 CAT... still waiting .... My acads r not gr8 (Xth - 80.7 12th - 76.4 BE - 62) ..... thts why worried if i will b able to make it... bcoz initial analysis shows tht all those who have 80+ in 10/12 & 70+ in BE r gettin a call (though exceptions cannot b ruled out).....

lets see wht happens.....

havent sent them the new cat reg. no. yet.
is this call on the basis of cat scores?
