@ vinz: Thank you for the reply. I think this happened with me as I used to score well in intial mock tests and my performance declined in last months mock tests. It became a boredom to take tests. Thanks man!! wish to join you over a cup of coffee in IIM A canteen next year  .

Yeah TIME AIMCATs
I yo-yoed from AIR 9 to AIR 600 odd... 99.95% to 96.xx.
Average percentile was around 99.5 odd. Had difficulties clearing either QA and DI everytime (time management sucked)
Come D-Day... 99.83 with 91.xx in DI, 99.62 in QA and 99.49 in VA 
BLICK calls + SPJ
Didn't go for SPJ
BLICK final converts
Moral: Screw the AIMCATs. What matters is you on that day

Here is how I did in the TIME Mock CATs 0503 to 0518 (being a test series student, I wasn't allowed the first two Mock CATs)
My percentiles varied heavily, partly due to experiments that I conducted, partly due to the mistakes I made, and mostly due to others doing better than me

Was in CL mock CAT's. Had an average score of 98%ile and above except once when I put some 92%ile. Average was above 98%ile. Cleared all cut off's 3/8. Didn't clear english cut off twice, adn DI cut off thrice.
Final CAT:
English-> 89.57
DI-> 99.91
Quant->99.98
Overall->99.95
Calls: B L I K
Converts: L I

well i was in cl and my performances varied over a wide range.here is my record

mock1 => 91.42
mock2 => 70.00
mock3 => 75.3

mock8 => 74.65
mock9 => 67.94  (after this mock i went to the coaching to take mdi's admission form but the councellor refused and told me that it wud b a waste of my parents hard earned money as i wont b able to cross 75 percentile as cat was a week away)

my learnings:- i had always beleived that those 2 hours will matter actually as the pressure on others will b high.so i wasnt much disturbed during my mocks.but ya one thing was sure -i practiced meditation a lot to remain calm during stress.and beleive me i owe my result solely to it.
so people who are preparing for cat06 ,my advice to you will be not to get depressed by unfaourable mock tests and always have the big picture & the d-day in mind .
if i can succeed any body with focus can .

Congrats for your great performance in CAT, especially because it followed bad mock-test result! It's difficult for many to stay focussed once your mock percentiles starts falling down. So, congrats again for the cooooooolness you showed in the CAT exam hall and so in your results.
PS : a post worth visiting again and again if you get bad percentiles in mocks again and again

Dunno if my post would soothe some nerves... but am a typical example of someone who miraculously belled the CAT 'cuz my SimCAT performances would cause several raised eyebrows..." Jeez... this guy got thru!!! I wonder how!!!!"

I think it will raise few eyebrows , your percentile on average were above 97 or 98 and that was strong indicator of coming success.
