The only answer to this question is NIT Surat is not being closed. I don't know from where did you get this news. Nit surat is going great and placements this year are record breaking. 230 placed before even entering final year. and thanks to the new rule that a person is allowed to sit in two companies so many of students and two job offers in hand and are deciding their priorities.

As far as problem is concerned, there was some issue among the faculty. But that issue probably is resolved now and after some delay the exams are trough.

Please yaar don't think anything like that.
