hey guys, i am an engineer and had applied for the short service commission with the army and air force and have just got a call from them for the interview- SSB.
do ull know anything abt the interview and what sort of questions they ask.... pls help me with this , have to go for it on 13th dec

meanwhile...if u got banglore as u r reporting center..u r lucky an have fair chances...else in dehradun and allahbad...they screw u up dear....

have applied for CDS this time....

Let me know what forces U've applied for.Is it army, or the air force or both??. Will be able to help u better then. I cleared SSB in AFSB Varanasi in 1999.Guess things must not have changed much since then.

In air force, U have an extra PABT( Pilot Aptitude Battery test) which is compulsory to clear to join the IAF. in Army u have a screening on the first day out of which a substantial portion of the batch is sent home. THe remaining are judged over the next 3-4 days on the following

Psychological test- Tests like Thetamatic apperception test, Picture perspective test, Word association tests etc

Group Tasks- Half group tasks and full group tasks

Interview= Final interview.

gr8 man....me too was there for the army SSB 2003...bt hehehe...bt in a stint to finr supreme intelligence...was tho kickd out on the third day :wink: ....


bt...no probs...changed my color and planned to jump into other flavors of life...bt hey...am bck again....trying it out this time too....

Hey anyone applied to CDS Exam this year

and has anyone received the exam call letter. I know its too early to receive anything cos the exam is in Feb.

But still if anyone has received the exam call letter do post about it..

Well now that I'm in MICA, it's pretty obvious that i am not in the forces. The reason being, that in my second term at NDA(YES!!! I joined it after clearing SSB) I met with a medical injury which terminated my ambitions. Am also a passout of the prestigious RIMC, Dehradun.

Forces still remain my first love.. Hence I wish the best for anybody who are motivted wnough to join it. WIll be glad to help. Most of my coursemates are commissioned now and are posted across the country.

dude dnt wory..am there...'Bro in Heaven n Hel... the exam is on 13th Feb i guess...and the admit card wil b there any time btwn Dec-Jan....

even i havnt got it yet....gave it last yr too...got a call...bt cudnt make it to the SSB bcoz of sum personal resons ..goshhhh... these damn personal resons never live u alone.....

Wel...also made it to the direct engineers SSb interwiew...last yr...bt as it goes... waz kickd out on the third day......

So dude.....make sure u got an health passion for armed forces...its no joke...its a mans game.....

just wanted to say its great that so many of u are intrested in serving our motherland. maybe im sounding too patriotic but its really nice to see ppl still care. by the way half of my family is in the army. my dad's a colonel, bhaiya is a LT and my uncle is a brigadier...ok.... enough showin off
