Do the SSC ppl take Software Engineers???? I saw a recent ad in the papers and it said only abt ECE mech etc. but no CSE.....
They dont take CSE at all or they dont need any presently??

well guitar killer...
right now i dont have plans to join the army. maybe after i finish graduation i might think about it. seems to me u r trying to coax me in joinin the armed forces... anyways as i said many ppl in my family are in the army and i have gr8 respect for them and 4 ppl who are seriously considering it as a career option but that doesnt mean i too have to join the army. and by the way u mentioned "words flyin off....' im sorry u felt that way coz i wasnt throughin words off. its just that i wanna do somethin else in life..but i will always support the armed forces even though i may not be joining it.

Hey guys me too an asiprant for forces never been asked by my family to go for it no distant relative in forces neither I am the usual MACHO stuff considered GOOD for forces
Just a cool and simple guy willing to do something different

kicked out of SSB three times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! once for NDA and twice for IMA
I am still interested in army but lets see where the road leads to....

But I know the real pain of wishing for something n not being able to even touch it despite the fact that "YOU HAVE IT IN YOU"

BUT the SSB knew how much crazy I am and the result I was thrown out

Now into IIFT and thus will be making it to corporate world but I wanna say something
'after you guys finish off your MBA and join the corporate world
STAY AWAY FROM ME' Coz I Corporate world is gonna be a battle ground within 2 years

wel dude...army do have direct entry for CSE guyzz..bt the take is only for 6-7 seats...and yse no s/w or IT pepole r entertained

wel if u can read the lines better...u can get tht neither waz i coaxing u nor coercing u...i waz jst ...letin u knw the real terms of doing and speaking things....
wel..have seen lot of ..ppl...esp..gurlls...who really have the same mentally..[NO Offences]....armed forces is nothin to appreciate or dream or say likings..its about doing things..if u have something abt..walk out and do it..they need those likeminded ppl...i knw..in 2days wrld..most pl llok for tht blue collar,lucrative career...bt wen u s there lifes from a close view...u'll understand..wht forces r all abt......

Gosshhhhhhh...without boozee....i can still write so much...

frankly since we both have totally opposite points of view i think its better i end this debate for all coz we just might end up fightin. i just hope u know how to convert your BIG BIG words into action instead of preaching others how they shud concieve the army. as far as the mindset of girls is concerned there are many girls who are serious abt the army so i dont think you should be throughin words off. eveyone has there own views abt the army . if u feel we shouldnt appreciate the army.... well then .. i have nothin more to say to you.

When and how to apply for CDS exam?

Pardon me, but.. is CDS the only way to join Short Service Commission?

I'm a software Engineer and am really interested in Air Force.

It would be of great help if one can state the step by step procedure right from application to the battery of tests to the final selection.. and how to go about it..
