My God, it is really irritating to go back to BJTs and FETs again u know. And this stupid Co called TCS has a separate tech interview.
Hey kdotarvind, does Infy have a tech interview??

And about pay packets, I heard TCS has elevated its sal to 2.88 LPA. So the take home might be 15-16k pm.
And Wipro is asking for a bond this year.

PS: I got all this info from my friends in Anna and PSG so if any of it is wrong, the brickbats may go to AU & PSG!

Hey, do the Cos never change the papers? I have got a few TCS papers with me( of the last 4 yrs or so), I find the same questions again and again in many papers. I dont think their database has more than 50 Qs, i.e if they have a database!

PS: This year's TCS paper in PSG Tech was exactly the same paper TCS gave in Anna U last year!

Hey Ghilli,
no tech interview for Infy!! but then, they might question u on some basic concepts if ur a CS/IT student. if ur ec/ee,then 95% u wont get any techie questions. but u will be asked to solve puzzles,some lateral thinkin questions and mostly HR related stuff! thatz it!!

so,if ur thro the intial test then u would be thro for almost sure!

Damn tech stuff. i never learnt this crap for univ's itself. feeling miserable now.

All the companies finish by july 9th.

I just want to get this stuff over with. Haven't been studying for CAT!! :(

Yep, sure. This was what I heard from the AU guys. So, it applies to the other colleges as well!

What do u mean by that? U mean only the companies u have mentioned above or
does the whole placement process itself get over by July 9?

PS: TCS is coming to my campus on July 1st (shit, just 2 days after college reopens), so kindly oblige with the papers.
