MBA in dubai - 11-05-2009, 01:37 AM

hi friends

I am working as a Software Professional in Dubai (UAE)
Here there are many International level universities / colleges of MBA, of UK/US/Australia etc.

Please suggest me which will be the best university / college for me.

And kindly give me idea about the specialisation too, which will be better for me regarding my future prospects.

thanks
regards

Tabish Qamar

The specialization you want to do determines your application to a university and the application depends upon your scores.
So first decide in which stream you want to do your specialization. Do you want to drift from your current profile? Get in to a management oriented role? So the prime thing is to decide on your specialization needs and then sort of universities accordingly.
The traditional MBA offerings are in Finance (if you are interested in investment banking, consulting and brokerage jobs)
Marketing (if you are interested in Sales, Branding, promotions and the basic concept of marketing i.e. 'selling')
HR (personnel management, i.e. if you are interested in managing people and polices)
Systems (that is more inclined towards your current profile)
Operations (which includes logistics and supply chain)
There are other specializations i.e. in communications (advertising etc), International Business, Environmental studies etc.
