Hi All !!!

Just joined PaGalGuy !!!

I have done my Bachelors in Computer Science and full time MBA in HR. I have 3 years of exp in HR with around 2 years in generalist profile and the rest in recruitment!

I have applied for the XLRI admission this year 2009 – 2010 batch.
I’m bit confused as to what the next?!

What should I prepare for the interview? What types of questions are asked? Especially for my sort of profile what will be asked? Will there be some GK questions, if yes then like?!

If they ask me why after a regular MBA and 3 years exp you want to go for XLRI PGCHRM, then what would be the ideal answer?

I’m very much interested to do this course to enhance skills and most importantly add value to my resume and get a good break in a bigger organization.

I am currently working as Software engineer at Noida with over 2 years of experience. so I would like to know how this course will help me to shape up my career growth in IT sector or anywhere else. how it will be usefull for me.

My name is Shripradha and I am a new entrant in this forum. I am planning to apply for the XLRI Satellite Program PGCHRM. I have 2 years of work experience in total in IT before I took a maternity break and quit working in 2008. I have a quesions:

1. Will I be eligible for this satellite course as I want to have a some decent weight on my resume.

2. I have read most of the postings in this thread and I am trying to understand what value will this bring to my resume.

3. Anyone of you have been interviewed in the past month (July 2009), please provide your feedback.

Appreciate all your postings. I did give some hope to restart my career.

Hi, Rekha here. Taking admission for 2010-2011 XLRI satellite program. Just read somewhere this remark

XLRI satellite programs are JUST NOT WORTH.
It becomes a headache,...they don't care a bot for your convenience....Some of the lectures are highly rushed....the moment they get their final installment fee, they stop concentrating you..by that time,they would ave 2 more similar batches running besides batches in other streams....

So bit worried. Can any Ex-XLRI help me for same.
