Ya m gearing up for them..But still in dilemma abt wen to apply for CFA,I think I should wait till feb deadline,things will be more clear by then as all my exams will be over..lets see.

i m taking CFA L1 jun 09
n news regardin the hearing abt indian centre...

hi guys.
I going to rite CFA level-1 in june 2009. i have started preparing for it.right now m on analysis of derivative. If any one doing the same plz reply. i am frm chandigarh, anyone interested in forming a group,can contact....

Well, I think the syllabus for '09 is out there on CFAI website. Check it. If thats not the case, try to get the material of '09 somewhere.
No one can predict how much will be the changes. But even if there are minor changes, it is not advicable to go with old notes. You never know what there is the box. Till the time you get hold of '09 notes you can study with '08 notes but then switch to '09 notes & read new LOS carefully for the changes.

i have plans to appear fr CFA lvl-1 in Jun 09...but m nt sure as m frm an engg bckgnd...defntly the amt of effort reqd will b significantly highr...
m also appearin fr MBA entrance xams dis season...so managin both the studies will b a dauntin tsk...dat's fyn cos if it aint tough, it's nt worth!...lol
i need to kno evrythin abt CFA lvl-1...how many subjects? wha do u start wid?(especially fr ppl like me, novices!) wher can i get the material dat is comprehensibl??
ny additional inputs will b most welcome!
