Hi Guys,
Good to see a blog over here exclusively for CFA June 2009.

Well, i'll b giving Level 1 in june 2009
But, i just want to know, what r the career prospects after doing this certification taking into account the current scenario of economic condition.

I'm a typical traditional software engineer from india, not taking into account any intrest of mine, got into computer science engg from a top engineering institute, got a O.K. kind of a job also in a good IT MNC.
Just now i realised if i can do what i really wanted to.

I know it must be Nth number of time you guys will be hearing this, and also, regardless of the answer i'll be going to pursue this level 1 in june 2009.

The Schweser notes for 2008 are available on CFA Books

the 09 books are hard to find on the net, they can be ordered from the schweser website.

hey guys,

gone through most of the posts on this thread...I am also planning to give the level 1 in June 2009 in Abu Dhabi UAE.
Well I am planning to take a training for this which will start next month December end. I have some material...have anyone gone through the CFA-Fundamentals book? (I read it was for non-finance people from Scheweser)

so well Hopefully we all trying to pass the L1 this coming june should have a good funn time ahead..:smile:
