Hi fnds,

Could anybody tell me the significance of CFA exam? Actually I am doing my fulltime MBA now and planning to write CFA level 1 in coming June. I have 5 years of work exp in IT before joining my MBA program and after MBA may be will go back to IT (in finance or strategy related role).

In that case how value add will be the CFA? Also please tell me how much value it adds on top of the MBA? Is it a real value add or a substitution for MBA (if somebody completes level 2 and 3)

Have started... dunno what I am doing right or not...i'm doing at my convenience....

Started with Volume 1 and reading according the book..1st finished the ethics & code..its only theory...now doing time value....with problems and all...hope this helps...
