Hi friends,
I think i made a blunder during my recruitment !!! I got selected in TCS last June in 27th(2007) in my 3rd year. Got verified by TCS yesterday(18th july,2008 ). They say its a back ground check. During my recruitment i have rounded off my percentages in my Resume and submitted. I obtained 86.8% in my 10th std n rounded it to 87%. In the same way rounded off my 12th percentage to 87 which is actually 86.9%. I heard TCS rejects people giving false information in their Resume. But i didnt do anything wrong. I just wanted to round off.
I fear that i would be rejected during my training. I am not sure of this. I am really confused.... Please help friends.... :icon_frown::(

Oh c'mon. Don't tell me that TCS is so strict that it would take offense to such a small thing. Honestly, relax. This should not be a problem at all. And if it is, then well... i pity TCS

Dont think its an issue at all.Rounding off is done very commonly.We do it in JEE n CAT applications.Many ppl do it during placements too.It wont be an issue and you should not be worried about it.

Hope they don't consider such small errors !!! The matter why i fear is that TCS is becoming strict nowadays ......

Thanks vivek !! That was really pleasing.... Just now relaxed on hearing rounding is common in CAT n JEE too....

@prbblog....TCS would have taken a note of it, if it had been 90% for 86.9 or 86.8.

Trust me, they recruit ever other day , so they wont penalise the new joinees for rounding off there %. So relax and have a good time at TCS.
