CFA helps in making a career switch to finance sector. If you are planning for career progression in IT sector than CFA will be only act as an added advantage to your resume and in case you are planning to switch to a role of an analyst than hands on experience in finance domain will also be required to make the switch.

By "analyst" do you mean the first job title in the investment banking environment-"associate"?

That too but what about a career in C#.Net programming with a CFA ?
How will this benefit me?
Thanks
