Correspondance degree is not valid for any entrace exam. You need full time degree. For XAT, CET, MAT you don't need 50% at the graduation level. But for GMAT you need good marks at graducation level... I think MAT & CET would be best option for you...

Hi,

Firstly ksvraman, I admire your determination to work as well as study. Although life for you may look messed up at present, I am sure that if you augment your grit with confidence you will surely reach places.

Secondly, if you are serious about possessing a valid post graduate degree from a decent institute, I would suggest that you try to pursue a full time degree from a recognized institute. Try to pursue a degree which wouldnt take up much of your time as I presume that you would be working as well. It will take 3 years for you to complete it, but at the end of your course you will have a valid graduate degree and would be able to apply to any institute for a post graduate course if you succeed in satisfying other eligibility factors such as the min %age, legitimate full time degree etc and you will even have ample work-ex. This will also give you an opportunity to score well in your graduation as I am sure you have identified your strengths & limitations by now.

During this time you can indulge in different activities like learning a new language, blogging or maintaing a diary ,contributing to the society via volunteering in an ngo and reading a lot of books. You can even use this time in acquiring a few more additional certificates by pursuing a short term course which relates to your interest. Surf the internet in a constructive manner, network with puys and other unique individuals, look forward to doing new and novel things and always have an open mind. All these acts will contribute to your growth.

Thirdly, I am not aware of your present financial situation, your family issues and anything about your personal life. So you might have issues with some or all of what I have typed above. But do remember, that it is never late to make a fresh start. People might doubt your abilities, they might treat you condescendingly but no one can estimate your potential except yourself, which I believe is endless. Try reading these books :

1) The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
2) The Monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma

Just believe that your destined to do well and never be afraid of failure. Never indulge in self doubting or self loathing. Just believe in yourself and very soon, the world shall believe in you.

All the very best!

Regds,

A Wellwisher.

ty nerdicgeekoid & neetugw for the replies ,

but the problm i have is i cant try any PG course in full time thy asking for minimum 50% which i dont have thats the reason i am trying to get it thru corres & finish it by the time i finish my 2nd UG .(with 70% ). i am sure i will get more % this time . but my question was does colleges which take GMAT score count the GMAT score alone or the UG marks too ? . either or the other way i will do a MBA in full time that i have decided .
