Hi,

I repeat again, pursuing NSE Certs doesnt give u any added bonus, but will definitely put you in a bad light, if you dont have them.

Diversify your profile. Its better that you give atleast those exams that I mentioned above.

Although people say that the exam is pretty easy, scoring above 85 or 90% is No childs play especially in the Derivatives Market module.

These certifications are must have in every Fin. Students profile.

Pursue CFA(AIMR) only - It has good job prospects in India and Abroad. CFA is definitely better than NCFM exams anyday.

cheers,

Shyam

Beg to differ, Derivatives is one of the easier exams.. in fact, the easiest after Beginners'.. but then, of course, it can be a matter of perception too :new_scatter:

I found Debt Mkt module to be the most conceptual, while Corporate Governance and even Info Security Auditors to be the toughest..

Hi,

Generally the Engineers do make the exam look easy, as they are well versed with Quant.

But for those who are not from the Quant background eg. Bcom, BA grads, scoring above 90% in the exam is not easy(general note - larger picture).

cheers,
Shyam

Dishu

Theres already a lot of debate on CFA (ICFAI) vs CFA(AIMR), you can pretty much find loads of info on PG itself.

But definitely CFA(AIMR) enjoys Global recognition and so will provide you Global Career Progression.

Also, the Return on Investment(ROI) is much better in CFA(AIMR). with many financial firms offshoring their work to India, having this certfication is definitely good.

Continue this discussion here,

Cheers,
