Management after 6+ yrs in software industry - 11-12-2007, 04:34 AM

Hello,

I am thinking of MBA options after 6yrs of Software experience in a reputed indian software company

I am interested in exploring the finance domain and also want a faster career growth

I am not sure if I should sit for CAT etc , or apply for GMAT. What would be the most suitable option for me ?

Thanks :-)

CAT primarily followed by GMAT. Target top 4 IIM's/XL/MDI. If u dont get there look outside India thru GMAT. ISB in India will be gud option thru GMAT.

GMAT instts in US/UK will be expensive. U will need top ones to get ROI faster. Indian-Male-IT candidates are in huge no.s applying, so foreign instts are choosy amongst them. NUS-singapore , HKUST, AIM-Manila can be evaluated as aternatives.
