hi everyone i need some help.

i have been selected in infosys in infrastructure services division ITS or something dont remeber the exact name.

what i need to know is:

1) what is the work profile in the infrastructure service and the growth in it? how is it vis-a-vis the software devlopment? is it a ok profile ?. they told us that it is same as TIS in wipro.

2) what is the pay package in google adwords?

and SHOULD I JOIN WIPRO OR GOOGLE?

Google being such a big brand name and with the fat pay packet( i donno the package but they did say its going to be good.) and also their office being in gurgaon( i am in gk so pretty close by) sound much more tempting.

please guide me.

Err Shikha...You are a B.E in Computer Science! I don't know how Google AdWords should even impress you!
So let me tell you one thing, Google AdWords is a completely non-technical job profile. I don't think it's wise for me to disclose anything else. If you want to join Google for the brand name, forget it because you are not going to do any justice to your 4 year term in an engineering college or if you're only expecting a fat pay then...err...I suggest you please talk to the HR about this and get things sorted out!

yes it is. sorry for the typo. i dont know the exact work profile but they told us that this division at infy does the same work as TIS of wipro

justice to 4 year term in an engineering coll? huh!! u gotta be kidding me.

how many of us do that? not beyond IITs i suppose.
most of engineering addmissions are based on just a 3 hr written test and addmission is taken by students on what rank they have rather than their intrest.

then its just software software software software and software. how many of your friends who did their engineering in mechanical or chemical or civil are working in their core feilds? most of them would be in some software firm. thats if u r not from ne of the iits or some other top notch coll. thats the case with 99 pc of the junta. so the question of doing justice to 4 yr engineering term doesnt arise because 4 yr engg degree is irrelevant in context to the career. sorry its not related but i thought that i should awnser.

i am still waiting for the replies to my main question though.......... and i need them fast because have my joining fast aproaching.

LOL...Funny to see you got so emotional ...I work with Google AdWords and I majored in nothing related to AdWords ...and somewhere down the line I have realized that I love science more than ever. (Sometimes obsession about death teaches you more about life...) I hope you get the point. Well, not deviating any further, if you require any information on Google AdWords PM me.
