I JUST CAME ACROSS FEW INFORMATIONS LIKE PGDBA IS SUPPOSED TO BE A BETTER COURSE THAN MBA ETC. AND PGP COURSE IS NOT GOOD FOR FRESHERS AS IS PGDBM.I LL LIKE THE PG MEMBERS TO COMMENT ON IT AND IF ANY ONE CAN EXPLAIN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PGP,MBA etc...etc.... I LL APPRECIATE. PLEASE BRING A FULL STOP TO THIS MYTH GUYS FOR THE SAKE OF FAIRLY NEW MBA ASPIRANTS LIKE ME

You can use the search option in various MBA threads to get the answer to your query. Plz refrain from starting new threads for this.
BTW, there is not much difference in the content of these courses. It is just that to award a MASTERS DEGREE, the Indian law (UGC Act) requires that only a UNIVERSITY can award a masters degree (MA, M.Com, MSc, MBA) and all other institutions that are not affiliated to any university can award only a post graduate diploma (PGDM, PGDBA, PGP and whatever).
