HPCL & ONGC exams ..escape software jobs and give more time to CAT - 22-04-2007, 05:12 AM

I am starting this thread for all those chemical, mechanical and electrical engineers who have got software jobs and want to move to core jobs in HPCL,ONGC by appearing in the coming exams for these companies. Thus giving more time to CAT and maybe taking 15 days or more holidays before CAT TO prepare well.Basically I would like to share strategies with guys similar aspirations.

I think practising a book on objectives in core dept would help going through the basics once again. It would be better to ask guys who have appeared in all India exams of companies like ONGC,IOCL,HPCL abt this. They can suggest the imp topics and level of prep reqd.
