hi all,
I am currently working in the software industry (mobile domain), and i had decided to get a higher degree related to finance as in an MS in financial engineering or an MBA with finance concentration.

I am appearing for the June 2008 level 1 exam and would like to know if i can get into an entry level job with this certificate.
I think it will do me a lot good (esp for MS) if i had prior work exp in finance..

Suggestions Please...........

I have 2 years IT experience now., and going in for MBA marketing (since i could not get finance). Will CFA certification enhance my profile, or is it going completely out of line...?

My friend, please make up your mind whether you want to go into Finance or marketing. The only suggestion from my part is - Do what you like, don't do something for the heck of it. You seem to be more keen on Finance.
