Hi ! I assume at your age, you already have some background in IT or Business. On the face of it, this course seems to be good- covering most popular testing tools..I deal with testers and take them on my development projects and this seems to be a good set of tools.

Thanks for the reply. The fact is I have been into Business Research information. Now I want to change my career and really looking forward to Software testing. My age is 29. I graduated in 2000. (BE-REC Jamshedpur). I learned C and C++ myself and right now I am studying data structure.

So please advise -
Is my age a hurdle as companies go for fresher or maximum for pass out candidates since last two years.

REgards,
Abhishek

Dont look at an entry level job. Even if they took you, a person of your age and experience would find it difficult. Leverage on your existing skills and experience to get to a role where you can use your existing knowledge and add value to the role you will fulfill. I am not sure what you mean by "Business research"- but if it is as a Market/Financial Analyst for example, you could help in testing and improving systems used by your former sector. IT companies( not all of them) need "functional experts" to help them give better levels of service to their clients, by using their knowledge of the sector and business their clients are in. These people also help in testing.

Your search for a job MAY take longer- but DONT start out at the bottom- thats really no where to go. Go for a better role with a lower pay to start with - pay can catch up later.

All the best!
