Hi All PG Friends,
I am working with a software company from last 2 Yrs,I am preparing for CAT 2006. I may get admission for Part Time Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management - Executive PGDBM course at SIBM(Symbiosis Institute of Bissiness Management ) as our company is having tie up with SIBM. Course will get start at the end of this month. It's 2 Years part time course having classes every Saturday and having syllabus of all General management subjects there is no specialization..
After completing this 2 Yrs course we have to stay at company at least for a year and company will then return the course fees we have paid.
I am not able to decide whether I should opt for this course or keep preparing CAT. Sometimes I think because of this course at least I will get an exposure to what exactly management education is and what they teach in MBA course .So What I should Do ? I have following 3 options

Option 1)Don't go for this course ; keep preparing for CAT ,SNAP,CET Maharashatra.
Option 2)To Go for a part time course at SIBM which is company sponsored and find whether you really like management or not meanwhile keep studying for CAT
Option 3) To Go for a part time course at SIBM which is company sponsored complete the course and after that start preparing for GMAT target ASM,Manila or ISB,Hydrabad

Please advise what option I should choose.

ajay, option-1 is better as of now povided u are confident to crack a top 5-6 school nd work hard for apti nd GD-PI.
co. sponsord SIBM course may not add much value. plus the bond and money factor.
if u can afford, definitely look for ISB/AIM/NUS after 2 yrs of addnl workexp. total cost may come to 18-20 lacs by then for ISB. these anyday MBA from NUS or AIM-manila is very different.
