Thanks for the prompt reply.

Today I was browsing info about Distance MBA course from Amity. Even though it is not approved by AICTE, but still it seems, the course is now affiliated by some U.P. Univ. Does this mean that one can safely go for it ? Ofcourse in my understanding IMT Ghaziabad is still a better choice than Amity. Please correct me if I am wrong.

IMT is better, Any day!!!
Plus AFAIK, IMT provides distance learning in 2 flavours. The first is the classroom seesssions that one takes up. The other is completely online. You only go to the centers for the exams.

So that gives you even more flexibility. But before going in for one of these, I hope you have given the full time option a real good thought.

With 6 years of exp, i must say, there is quite a good chance of you getting into the 1 year full time MBA colleges. But the chances depend on the profile. THink it over, and if you wanna know our opinions, then post your complete profile:
1. School
2. College
3. Work-Ex
4. International Exposure
5. Extra Curr.

All the best....

Well I would like to know more about 1 yr full time course. May be somebody can throw light on this !!! Is there any entrance for this 1 yr programme ? or guys like me with 6 yrs of exp can directly jump into that.

Just now I have spoken to a representative of IMT Ghaziabad. The last date of admission is 10th July, so I have still some time with me before zeroing on to IMT ! Meanwhile I would also like to explore ICFAI option. It seems they are offering a MBA in IT field. Am not sure abt that, gotta check up !

Well as far as mine background is concerned, I am B.TEch in electronics, passed out in year 1999, after that I joned DRDO as scientist. and then currently I have joined a MNC working in embedded electronics.

So I am looking for a MBA course which can enhance my prospects in future. Thats why I am more intereseted in something related to IT or software.

Following are the benefits which i see in IMT:
- its very flexible, upto 6 yrs of time to complete 3yrs PGDBM course !
- its nearby ! being Delhi based the proximity has a phsycological affect also
- they have weekend classes running on Sundays ! (will have to miss my parties !)
- the course contents seems to be manageable !

Please let me know ur comments on this :2gunfire:

thanks

I really REAAALLLY want to, but dont write in SMS tongue.

AS on of the mods put it, we dont charge you for the number of characters you write!!!

Yeah they are from different UNI's. The best way is to call up IMT themselves. They had stopped admission for the last sem pretty early due to seat constraints. Plus they admit twice every year!!
How old are YOU??
Please post your profile if you want some good suggestions from us!! Also, what course are you doing full time and what's the hurry for a distance learning MBA???

EDITED

Saw u'r 20 years!! What's the hurry pal?? Distance learning.... needs to explained as you go ahead in your career and want to change or do another MBA!!
Unless of course that age is not the real one!!!
