1. I did right by droppin ICFAI?
Simple answer: it simply doesn`t matter. Only time will tell if you took the right decision..and it would help if you stopped listening to the voices in your head for a while. take a decision and stand by it. I got an admit to fore 2 years ago and rejected it...today, i hear mckinsey and ernst and young recruit from there, which were probably the companies that i wanted to work with to begin with! i then quit a plum MNC IT job to work in a small 2 room startup that looked like the worst decision in the world...but i`m learning so much here and havin so much fun that it feels like the right decision. Took the gmat after chucking another few admits in indian schools and looks like i have a good enuff score to go to US. i`m not trying to project myself as an example here, i`m just tryin to tell you that something good can come out of even seemingly bad decisions. You need to stop thinking about the consequences of a decision you have already taken and look out for how you can best make use of the opportunities that have sprung up as a result of the decision you made.
2. Should i go for LnT n then after two yrs should think bout MBA?
if you are particular about staying with your family and spending time with them, then why should LnT be given such a high priority to start with? if you have to reject LnT, it should be coz your family is your priority and not becoz you`re an indian woman who`ll get married and blah blah...
3. Should i sit at home(jobless) n prepare for CAT'06?
Absolutely Not, that would be disastrous.
4. Should i find another job in delhi which is also not too tiring so that I can prepare for CAT'06 as well?
jobs are everywhere...in delhi too...you need to look real hard. Moving out of town is not "tiring", it is "TAXING". There will be a hundred other things that will demand your attention and energy when you live alone out of town...these will include some of the basic things that you can take for granted when you`re staying at home or even a hostel. This can include cooking for yourself after a long day at work, laundry, domestic help, cleaning, taking care of finances, rent, commuting, shopping etc etc. If you`re looking to squeeze time out of your day after your work for studying, then you are better off staying at home and working in delhi.
