by the way i got the call in the s caaled "second list" with my 97.5 in cat..

now with this.. i am wondering whether its worth the trouble at all... i mean they must have called loads and loads of ppl now.. low chances of converting..

anyways will go there and check it out for myself and join the race..

hey nikhil...was it u who i met tday for the LBSIM gd/pi. u were the one who mentioned pg n said hes got a call frm MICA...help me out man.

the ppl who have to appear for the MICAT on the 26th 27th ....do they have to pay 500 bux as well? cz nothing like that is written in the prospectus....
n wht abt da venue??....
spoke to the admissions people there n they said that it cant be shifted to delhi...have to go to ahmedabad only/
any idea how many people they've called totally? first list + second list combined?

Did not feature in the second list as well..had called up admissions office.
It seems there has been a clerical goof up. My MICA Application form no. is 012111 and XAT id is 142613. CAT id is 3770641.
I had applied through both and it seems they considered my CAT score which is just 86%ile. My XAT scores are:
Overall %ile: 93.82
Verbal Ability: 91.29
Quantitative Ability: 73.22
Data Interpreatation: 94.33.

The person on call told me he'll look into it and asked me to call after half an hour. I asked him his name but he didn't mention his name and asked me just to call up admissions office. I called up again and the person was not traceable again. The second time it was some teaching staff member and asked me to mail to luv thaker and registrar about the same.

I have mailed them [registrar & luv thaker] yestreday morning but haven't got any reply yet and it is really impossible for me to follow up on phone. Mostly because the phone is busy and when it gets connected the concerned person is not around.

I am a very very serious aspirant. Moderators/Puys please suggest something...the situation is getting on my nerves with each passing minute..

Received an call as well as email from staff saying my casr has been reviwed and I have been called for MICAT in Bombay on 24/25..not received any email from admissions office though..final confirmation will be from them..but still...
