Hello Seniors

i am really confused about the area of specialization i should go for in MBA.
i am a computer sc. engineer .
My profile:-
1)Very good in number crunching.
2)Analytical mind.
3)Can work in teams....maybe even lead if necessary.
4)Love traveling
5)Can talk with strangers....but i dont think i can convince people easily.
6)Love stability in life.
7) 8.3 Total GPA...
7)Scored more than 80% in Xth and XIIth.
Loved subjects like Operations Research & Financial Accounting and Mathematics(had them in B.Tech)
Few questions:
1)Which specialisation should i go for?Which one suits my profile?
2)Do Engineers find MBA Finance difficult to handle ?
3)Whats the effect of recesssion on MBA Finance students and their placements?

u have the answer in ur question itself....
u feel Finance suits for u, so that is it !

but dont keep the other doors closed.. attend a few classes/seminars on finance, ops , marketing n hr to acquaint urself with these areas..try 2 attend a few classes/seminars on topics related to finance, ops, marketing etc to acquaint urself more with these areas; may b ur coaching inst may help u in tat- tey may be having the schedule of seminars to b conducted in ur city/twn

n abt ur q's....
pros will surely ans ur q's , in the nxt post
i'm an Ops guys n it wnt be wise to ans. i found my work ex to help in selecting my spez..
but let me assure u one thing...engineers r meant 2 mke things frm bad to worse n then handle it...
