Fellowship Program in HR from IIMC

hello,

I am doing my HR specialization under AIMA.i am interested to go for a fellowship program from IIMC in HR. Can u plz suggest me whether i need any coaching for the CAT or how are the questions in CAT as i am interested to sit for the CAT this Nov2007.can u plz give any contact source whom i can get help about this FP in IIMC.any books to study if helps.

Fellowship program leads to teaching/research career. check for Prof_calculus in different posts for his experience or PM him.

CAT coaching is same as for PGDM. However competition/cut offs not as stringent as PGDM. They look more for research aptitude and leaning towards similar career. Need to chk if AIMA qual is accepted as it is considered Correspondence+contact.

Strong conceptual skills in HR, good quants skills helps. Also publications if any. Awareness of latest research in chosen areas of HR also helps. Use scholar.google.com for same. It helps if you have a resear/area focus under broad area of HR. You also need to look thru HR faculty in IIMC and their research interests and prepare accordingly/align your interests accordingly.

It is a 5 year and hi-intensity affair. It makes sense to meet/mail HR profs in IIMC and initiate a discussion.
