Hey gys,

I need a bit of help.My profile is given below. Bugged up with doing coding and implementation jobs, I want to move into a bit more diversified role in the same/ diff area.I am looking at roles like that of a BUSINESS ANALYST/SALES/BUSINESS DEV.
Can anybody please help...........


My profile is :

AGE :25. 26y the time I join( hopefully)
EDU: B Tech; NIT/REC,Bhopal.(2003), 72 %.Loads of extra curriculars.....sports ,tech,cultural
WORK EX: IT total 3 yrs..total.......
HCL Tech..... Software engineer........fresher to till Jan 06........
Sterling Commerce( AT&T ) .......Delivery Consultant........currelty........total 3 yrs so far.

Explore within the organisation if they can offer you any of the roles you are interested in.

An MBA does help career changers, though a lot depends on the bschool you choose, your own efforts and liberal doses of luck.

But it's possible that an MBA may not be an absolute necessity for some/all of the roles that you are interested in, within your current organisation.

Based on your 3 year track record, if the HR/management team thinks you have potential, then it might just save you 2 years and quite a bit of your bank balance. Also puts you in a better situation a few years down the line to do something more specialised, than a general MBA right now.
