I got a call, but have no clue as to what the srno is? the receipt id is a 6 digit number, so its surely not that as srno is a 5 digit number. also i received no mail from spjain. could neone who received a mail kindly reply and could someone pls let me know where one can find the srno?

The number on the left cald serial no. (67187) is the same as the confirmation ID for ur application tht u get once u fill up the form online...

Hi,
I just realised I've made the stupidest mistake. I have given my specialisation as Manufacturing and operations instead of Marketing. I know this is an extremely stupid mistake. Is there anything i can do to rectify it and make them consider me for the first short list? My acads are great. Above 90% in 10th and 12th. Done decently in college too. My extra curricular activities aren't bad either.

Please temme what to do.

For those who havent got the profile based calls ...can they expect calls on the basis of CAT/XAT score in the second list???

hey Abhinav and Prasanna...cud u plz tell me if this list was made keeping the GMAT scores in mind for those who had submitted their GMAT scores or will the GMAT scores be considered for the second shortlist when the CAT/XAT percentiles will be out??

Is there any other way of obtaining the srno? It is not present in the email sent sent as a confirmation after registration and i cannot recall having noted it after registration.

My name is in the shortlist for marketing. Wat is this shortlist for? Is my interview call confirmed irrespective of my CAT percentile.

A total of 1285 candidates were shortlisted against the total seats (batch strength) of 166.
There were 417 calls for Finance against total seats of 50.
For Information Management, 281 people were shortlisted against total seats of 25.
423 candidates were shortlisted against total seats of 57 in Marketing.
For Manufacturing & Operations, there were 164 calls for 34 seats.

Dunno if the equations still holds true.

X : 96% (State Board)
XII : 94% overall (State PU Board)
Engg : E and C 81% VTU.
Extra Curriculars : Average...Am gonna get screwed here for sure...I know that..

Work Ex: 16 months (till date) in an embedded systems company

@Abhinav and Prasanna : Please clarify when/how are the proofs checked for extra currics...Coz I have mentioned a couple of things that I do not have proof for(Have photos though)...
