Hi,
I called Sp Jain yesterday. And found out tha I didnt get through. .....In retrospect all those days spent trying to create the perfect polished essay were a horrendous waste of time. Anyways on the brighter side I know myself better what with all that introspection.
I guess the only way to find out if youve got a call is to call

when i asked the guy at Jain when the results would be put up on site he told me that he had no idea. Somehow i feel this is ridiculous but maybe its just a case of the sour grapes syndrome. All the best for those still waiting for calls

Hi fren....

If i m not wrong their final list for the calls is already put up on the website....
as far as the final results is concerned what they said is that they wud b out in the last week of march and as per the site that shud b 28th march...

they always give second list also for that after 14-15 days....

Hi All,
One of my friends has received a courier from SP Jain offering him a final admit in to SP Jain for Information Management on 14th. He has been asked to confirm his interest in the offer in 3 days following which he has to remit abt a lakh by the end of this month. The letter also says that he can opt out of the Admission Offer before April 30th to get the remitted amount back...

It seems SP is planning to send final admits in batches rather than bulk.

has n e one from manufacturing got the letter.. GJ wud u plz describe the profile of ur fren.. what was his percentile worke x etc.... how was his gd/pi ...

Hi,
The friend I mentioned has a percentile of 93-odd percent and a work-exp of 30 months. He had his interview on 22 Feb and was a reasonably good second round of Grp Interview

I donno what SP is shooting at ....!!???

Hi frens .. here is the latest update about the whole issue...

I called them up.. here is what they said.. according to them NO final results are out at the moment.. They wont b out before 29th/30th March and may even go to first week of April... so Chill out guys....

Now coming to the Lucky fellow who got the courier.. First of all my hats down to him.. Man he has got the courier.. No doubts .. that is perfectly genuine... He has got it bcoz he was "selected on the spot..."....yes this is what the authorities told me.. they said the couriers hav gone only to guys /gals who have been selected on the spot...

Moreover what they said is that these ppl were also asked to give in writing at that moment itself that they wud JOIN only SPJ.... I think this to b a little ridiculuos.. but this guy who got the courier can throw more light on this aspect..

For my gp in spj, one of the TCS gal was asked to change her first priority from Finance to IM to get selected.. I think she also must hav got such courier.... she gav somthg in writing.. this is for sure....

so thats the reporting from Mumbai....

Hi folks, just checked their site and found my name is not in the first list. There's a message which stated that the 2nd list will be posted in the first week of April. Also, I got a call from SPJain yesterday asking me to fax my CAT scores since they didn't get them from the IIMs! So, I did that and asked them about the results. They said that it shouldn't take beyond the last week of March. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Incidentally, I'm one of the people who got shortlisted based on work-ex - before the CAT scores were out. My CAT scores are bad - 77.96 percentile, but I have 7 yrs work ex in the IT field and have opted for IM. So, let's see.
