Ask SP Jain Dubai & Singapore: Official Admission Query Thread

Hi Rutty;
I gave my SPJAT on 30th Sept; and I have got my score now, as well as a call for interview on the 13-14th Oct.
At the time of filling the online application form for GMBA Program, i didnt have any past score of CAT/XAT/GMAT/SPJAT; so I left the scores as blank.

My query is, that do I need to send this score which I have recieved to SPJain again; OR will it be considered automatically by the selection committee?
Please reply at the earliest, as very less time is left for the certificates to be sent to SPJain

ur score will be added to ur application form,u dnt hav to send any...wait for the eval call...ATB

Hi there,

Since this is an official thread for admission queries, I would like to ask the following questions:

1) When does the admission procedure for June intake begin?

2) What do you look in a candidate while evaluating his performance?

3) Kindly send me a detailed schedule for the admission procedure for the June/July 08 intake.

Hi again,

just another input, well I know its tough and you guys at SPJ are doing a good job, but this exam SPJAT should be made online.

I did wish to apply to SPJ for Jan 08 intake but I could not because I cant appear for the exam as i am placed in Helsinki and neither do i have my GMAT scores.

So there should be an alternative.

Just thought I will mention my concern.

Well the decision to shortlist a candidate lies with the Admissions Commitee and they will look at your overall profile not only the SPJAT score.

No, you needn't update us about your score as we already have it on our records
however for safety sake you may care a print out of the score email that was sent to you

Hi VArun,
Firstly Thank you for your suggestion and I will definitely pass this on to the concerned dept.
1) we havent yet decided anything regarding the June 08 intake - you may check our website around Dec 07 for updates regarding the same
2) while shortlisting a candidate we look ath e profile as a whole - academics, work ex, entrance test score, extra curriculars
3) this can be found on SP Jain Dubai and Singapore - Admission Queries

Hi Rutty

I have a query regarding the reco's, Just want to know is there any specific format we need to get our reco's done. I mean do we need to have it on a companny letter head, or on a plane A4 sheet? Plz lets us know if there is any specific thing that we need to keep in mind while getting the reco's done.
