Hey guys.. Does anyone know where does the aimcat take place in chennai.. I need to take the test in chennai today and i dont know the centre.. or if anyof u have the TIME chennai office phone numer plz pm that to me.. Thanks for the help..

Finally a decent paper from TIME, something you can expect in the actual CAT. I found quant a lil tough, and DI pretty easy. Did OK in VA, though screwed up the RCs, guess i picked the wrong RCs.
My scores
VA 26(12 r, 10w)
DI 57(19r, 0w) delighted with 100% accuracy for the 1st time 
QA 20(7r, 1w) hate myself as i cud nt remember the divisibity test for 13 and 17 in question 1-4
Total 103.
I changed my strategy drastically today, and it helped. Could use this one itself CAT.
Also thought this paper was a good pattern, definately can be expected inCAT, this pattern or the pattern of Simcat 1.
Gotta go nw. Would be glad if ppl could tell me wht percentiles i could expect.

VA 41
DI 19
QA 21
total 81.
My analysis of the paper:
I am usually bad at VA but this time i think VA was very simple. Even in the SC the incorrect sentence was amply visible. Though I did too many mistakes in RC. Guess the cut off of this section should be around 30-35.
DI was not tough. The set on seeds was a give away. 5 straight questions. The set on TEST I II III IV was also easy but required a little of effort. The third easy set was that of currency and trade of petrol etc. It required little of calculation. i think i will miss the cut off in this section. cut off should be around 20-25.
QA was toughest. A breakthorugh in any set was tough though relatively simpler ones were equlateral triangle shaded region with circles and the work question. The question on graph was good. cut off should not be greater than 15.
Total cut off should be 90-95. what say puys.....

a bad day from start to finish.. reached the centre late and dint get any extra time either.. 9 is too ealry to take an exam.. and for the first time i marked a different answer to what i got.. anyways, a bomb of a maths, never seen it like this.. and never expect to see it again.. nobody should be worried about the QA, even if anyone has scored 4-5 in this one ..
my scores
VA - 58 (53 mins, grammar part was very easy. RCs not as bad as earlier mocks)
DI - 41 (38 mins, 1 wrong, this is the one i marked wrong)
QA - 16 (38 mins, ab iske baare me kya hi boloon)
total - 115
i expect to see the highest score in excess of 150 here..
