its not compulsory to wear a tie ...if u r comfortable in one..well and good, else dont wear it...
i didnt wear a tie to my gd /pi 's till date ...no probs so far

hi puys...
finally had my GD PI @ Welingkar 1:45-2:30..

Man...had a party on 19th...came home @ 2 am...damn...
luckily reached venue at time...thank God no hangovers!!lolzz

Ok..now the business...
After all that hospitality that I wud have got @ the Marriot ..we set ahead for the GD..
topics:-
1)Adult Franchise shud be banned(no hands for it..)
2)33% reservations for women in all sectors..since we had 4/8 women in the group..they jumped for it..like life..

So GD Starts..I didnt start cuz i wasnt sure if it was actually happening or it was jus thrown @ us..
A sensible lady starts the discussion
(Was a good start..a few avg talks..n I came with a few points..
said tht reservations is a controversial word...we gotto see the RIGTH CANDIDATE-->RIGHT JOB thing...
Also I made it a point to conclude..fortunately..
End of the GD I discussed with a few people..who gave positive feedbacks abt my points
So..I think it was decent..
Now the main thing

PI...
Prof 1:Middle aged guy frm JBIMS
PRof 2:Reminded me of my great grandpa..lolz..again frm JBIMS

I was asked to intro myself...
then they caught my weakest point..My BE Acads..
I mean with a 65 % in final yr (mumbai univ) they were like its bad..if u even
get thru JBIMS..u'll get 40..
They didnt let me speak..I was waiting patiently for my turn..
then when I got it..

I gave it back..said that I am technically sound thts y I got a job..
Its been 10 months n I'm doing gr8!!

Again he caught this point saying tht u shud continue with job..fortunate to make it to SAP n all tht..:bad-word:
Man he jus wanted to chk my determination to be an MBA..
It was hardcore stress interview..cuz they were like..born to cut my words...

Then came my good time...I dont really remember how..but
I got the flow of the PI in my hands I guided them thrughout n then things looked good...gave them the analysis y I am aiming the top 4-5 instis..courtesy pagalguy.com
was impressed...

Now the BEST PART OF IT..

guys i kno i wont make it to JBIMS
but this prof...I dont know how just handed over his card to me...
n said It was nice meeting u..all the best with ur career..

I was like man..is this real..was he actually impressed or he thot I need some serious counselling...lolzzzz

As I thanked the older prof..shaking hands the first one came back..
THIS IS FUNNY NOW...

He said Anmol..y dont u leverage ur dimples a bit..I'm bored of the Sharukhs and Salmans..
I'm sure u wud make it big in the bollywood/modelling ciruit..

I was like damn...even my gf didnt say tht..lolzzzz.

A spontenous reply came out..I said
"Sir I think there r many who cud do that..I'd rather leverage my brains and make it big in the corporate world.."

Both were stunned and smiled bigtime..

Both said..that was a gr8 reply...we r looking forward to see u soon..

Boy was that funny..
I know either I made a fool outta myself or I impressed them..nothing like an average PI..
After PI I asked a few people if they got his visiting card or something...n they were like..nopes

Hopefully they might be impressed..but I was happy I pulled it back..after that tensed stressful interview

it's depends upon you
if u wear it it is well & good

i have my gd-pi at sndt tomaro that is 22nd of may........my slot is written as 8.00 -8.45 and batch 11. what is this batch thing, how come this is 11th if mine is the first slot in the day.......thogh they havnt mentioned am or pm.it cant be at 8 in the nite right, so pls explain. and also anyone whose gd-pi is over at sndt, pls share ur experience.

@ Pooja...Please dont Mind ..it is not 11..
it is 1 1 (One One) which essentially mean.. there are 3 parallel batches runnin in the same slots.. (8-8:45) wil have 11 , 12 , 13. or so on....
And obviously ur batch wil be 8:AM...u only gave the answer...as u said urs is the 1st Batch..so how can the 1st batch start at ..8:PM..Anywayz...All The Best...Tc..
