Hi Ms Rutty Bharucha ,

I'm posting this again coz i thought this post might have got overlooked.

I am quite interested in the IT specialization of the GMBA program.I am an engineer having distinction in 10th and 12th and first class in graduation.
I am currently having an experience of 1.5 years in a reputed MNC.

However my CAT percentile this year has been just 75.
I'm still waiting for the XAT results.
Would be greatful if you could tell me if i should apply with the CAT score or not.
Also I wanted to know what is the average/mean/highest salary offered to students of IT management course.Also what are the job profiles that are being offered.Will a prior experience in this field make me eligible for the lateral placements.
Also i would like to know that in case i apply for the Jun'07 batch,the course will get over by Jun'08.when would the placements for this batch be held.After jun'2008 co generally placements for B schools are held in Dec.

Hi,
Let me clarify that our programme is a 2 city cross over model where in you are studying 6 mnths in Dubai followed by 6 mths in Singapore so there is no option to choose between the 2 places. You have to compulsorily study at both places.

Dear Miss Rutty Bharucha,
Thank you so much for your reply.I am sorry for troubling you again.Just that i went through this link..it mentions the average salary but does not mention the job profiles offered.I would like to know the profiles offered to students passing out of IT mangement course.also when would like to know when would the placement for the june'07 batch be held..will it be in june-july'08...

Hello Ma'am,

My academic qualifications are as follows

10th - 87.33%
12th - 85%
B.Sc (Chem) - 64.75% (did it from Presidency College, Calcutta & ranked 83rd in West Bengal in Graduation)
M.Sc (Chem) - 68% (from Hindu College, Delhi University, ranked 8th in department)

Work Ex - 20+ months in a market research firm.

However there are 2 problems

-
firstly, my CAT score is 79.33 percentile whereas you have mentioned 80 percentile as cut off.
Secondly,my company is a small firm which is quite known in the filed of B2B services but not very reputed.

Considering the above, do you think I hold any chance if I apply to SPJAIN Singapore?

One more query, do you have hostel for ladies in Singapore?

The cost of living in Dubai would be approx 650 AED per month and 425 Sing Dollars in Singapore per month.
This is just an approximation for a comfortable standard of living and it may vary depending on the individual's lifestyle and habits.
