Official Guide for GMAT Review (where to buy?)

Hi all,

I just joined this forum. In fact never knew about pagalguy 15 mins back.
I'm currently in chennai and I'm trying to find a shop where I can get the book,
"The Official Guide for GMAT Review", preferably the 11th edition (is that
the one released in summer 2005?). Used or new, both are ok. Do u guys know
a shop tht sells GMAT books & CDs in chennai ?I tried calling up a few book
shops...they don't have it.

If not chennai, any place in mumbai, bangalore or delhi where I can get the
book.

Please advice.

Someone had posted that it took about 7 days to get it (in India) one the order was placed on www.mba.com. Gut the shipping cost is more than the cost of the book.

I got it by blackmailing some1 I know in US to order it and then send it hand carried to India - probably you can do that.

Check out on the forums for people who have this book - I am sure you will get someone in Chennai and then you can use your managerial skills.

In Delhi - there is a bookshop near IIT where you can get the originals & the potocopies of these kind of stuff. There could be parallels in Chennai too.

Well i have enquired from more than a couple of shops in delhi,

in CP and in North Campus. None of them have the 11th eddition of the OG yet

but they are hoping that it should be there hopefully by the end of this month.

Difficult I guess. Its not there in Bookstores in London. I think GMAC is following a policy of selling it only thru Web.

Thanks for the info. guys. So the only way to get it is from mba.com i guess...

I hadn't thought about doing MBA, until recently. Howz the aid scene for MBA in the US (UK,
Aus as well). A good score would get u an admit from a top biz. school. So does it mean that
the same score would get u an admit with financial aid from a average ranked school ?

How does it work?

Actualy, I opened http://www.landmarkonthenet.com/ and searched for the book, but the search result was from shopping.sify.com. Looks like Landmark and Sify has some tieup.

Ok. Now about the GMAT books. Should we go for Offical Guide for GMT Review or Princeton review? Please advice/

hey parag, m frm del and m currently preparing for the gmat. please could you specify where exactly near iit can i find this bookshop....please explain in ddetail coz my geographic abilities are very majorly impaired. lol.

OG GMAT review is the bible of the GMAT Preparation.
