Thnks catalytic for ur warm wishes,
An uncontional offer means that the student has completed all requirements for entry into the course and has no more requirements to be met like a IELTS score card, final year marksheet, etc, thats where a conditional offer comes where the student is considered for the course but will be admitted to the course only once he completes the requirements ,
Well as far as PG going to oxford is considered, he is not going this yr , so i miss out there, but yeah we can always be in touch through PG.com

hi frens...
hi i am kirti khetan from mumbai. i have compleetd my B.M.S course this april n awaiting for my results. my trck rec has been good throughout my acads with avg above 75%. the only drawback is that i dnt have any full time work exp but i did summers n even worked wid dad while studying but i guess that these exp r nt included in work exp.
but the point is that i m pusruing MBA in finance from UK. i hav a conditional offer from various univ. like - university of liverpool
- university of cardiff
- university of wales institute , cardif
i have also applied to univ like UNIV.OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, UNIVE OF ROBERT GORDAN n am still waitin for the reply....
the prob here wid me is that i m confused abt the credentials of the universities. i m even worried abt the rankings, placements n all....
hey anybody who cn help me wid this asap....

Hi kirti,
I think i hav written to u before, pls go to the RAE 2001 site for the ratings on these institutes based on the quality of research work they carry out,(and pls believe me these ratings are very very credible.!!!!)
And according to me Cardiff is the best offer u hav yet.
Also what hav u got an unconditional offer for MSc in finance or MBA,
Anyways both courses are equally good, depending on what u want that is!
A note on placement though, pls be aware that no univ in UK or that for matter USA will tell u that they can assure u of a sure shot job after the course, but as far as i know i think u hav a good opprtunity as u had some part time exp as u said, but this is subj to how good u perform in your course and how u market urself there, which i think u wud bcas of ur good past record(wow i sound like a pro !!!) hey but these are not my words but of some ppl i know who hav done their MBA frm cardiff and are now working in top firms like goldman sachs...,
Also if this helps Finance is one of the hottest courses there so i wud say go for it if u get an Unconditional offer.
Pls let me know if u need to know anything.
cheers,
