wanted to know if it is possible for a person to apply for 2 different programs at the same time? I am primarily interested in MBA, and if not MBA, then MSc in Applied Finance. Can I apply for both of them in the same year?

I have a question and would be glad if anyone could address it....... I have an admit from Nanyang and Manchester Business School ... donno which one I should opt for ... although I know comparing these schools is like comparing apples with oranges .. but still ..... all suggestions are welcome...

The thread seems to be inactive for quite some time. Does it mean that Nanyang is done with its admits? Are there any people who have got a reject from them in the meanwhile? My status still shows "Application under process". Does it mean that people like me still have some chance?

Another thing: People who have got admits, but most likely won't be joining Nanyang (and joining NUS, IIM-L, Cranford etc.) - have you folks informed about this to Nanyang? This might help out the waiting guys a bit....

Hi,
I just spoke to one of the adcom staff at NBS. She informed me that application processing is still underway and it might go on till end of June. However, she hinted that the bulk of the admits will be given out by may end and that the waiting list applications might be processed after that. If this increases your frustration levels, you can take heart from my case. I visited the campus and gave my personal interview on the 18th of December(FIVE MONTHS AGO) and my application status is "Application in process". I have tried hard to remain patient till this moment. Best of luck for all those "waiting souls".

Hi All,
I am relieved to know that I got a "result" from nanyang. I got a reject today after I had called them up a couple of days ago. Now, I can get on with my life. Planning to apply next time around.

My profile:
GMAT: 710
Work ex: 3 years in a reputed IT MNC
Acads: Decent CGPA from a reputed institute
Extra curriculars: Decent

Strengths: Well rounded profile, good interview performance during my campus visit in December.

Weaknesses: IT background and limited work ex.

i did get offer for admission more than a month back. they still have not sent me details any payments to be made or further details. I wanted to reject the offer but with no correspondence from their side i was wondering whom to reply to??? it would sound rude if I had to directly send the letter... any puys in similar position?

Jaimin and others, I can understand your situation: it is confusing at the least. But it would be a favor if you folks can inform at the earliest so that we 'the waiting ones' can get some chance.

To decline the offer made to you, just call up the office and ask Anna about the procedure. I am sure she will be able to help you. Make sure you do it at the earliset, because you are making life difficult for the "waiting ones". The waiting time is already more than what one could bare with.

Hey All,

I received the admission package from Nanyang a couple of days back. It mentions a link which I have to visit to confirm my acceptance of the offer of admission. It has specifically been mentioned that acceptance via e-mail is not an option. The letter says that if I do not visit the link and confirm before 2nd June then it will be considered that I have not accepted the offer. No mention is made of any procedure to send not acceptance. So even after receiving the package, I am not sure if we can send them not acceptance via e-mail or just imply not acceptance by not confirming on the link.

@Waitlisted Applicants: You will surely see some waitlist movement after the 2nd June. Be patient till then and all the best.
