hi Shweta,
a brief about me: - I have completed my BE(Electro) from DY PATIL, Mumbai with 53%. Prior to that I have done my Diploma with 65% and 10th std with 68% from Don Bosco, Mumbai.
- I have 5 years of work experience in marketing and sales in the IT ( Hardware Industry).
- Currently employed with Wipro Infotech as Manager- (Technology Integrated solutions) since oct 2007.
My question: - I wish to pursue Marketing , am I eligible with your institute keeping in mind my % in BE is below 60%.....?
 - what are my job prospects after completing the course....? On your website i did not find many companies for the IT domain as compared to the companies related to Financial background.....?

Awaiting Response.

Hi,
As far as SPJCM admissions are concerend - the gap would not be a problem and neither would your working with a govt enterprise be given less weightage.
Thanks

Hi Dipesh,
Well yes you may go ahead and send in your application and while we do expect students to have atleast a first class all throughout their academic career, the Admissions commitee is willing to overlook the academics a bit if tehre is a good amount of work ex or if the candidate is outstanding in other areas. In your case since you have 5 years of work ex you may send in your application. However I cannot comment on your chances as that would be the decision of the Admissions Commitee
If you are looking at pursuing the Marketing spec then you should be looking athe placements statistics for the Marketing spec and not the IT spec
All theses details are available on our website on the below link: S.P.Jain Center of Management - Dubai . Singapore
Thanks

Hi,
Well your profile sounds fine to apply except for your score. If ALL other factors are meeting our requirements then the Admissions Commitee will not reject your application.
What you would be required to do is either retake the GMAT or take our aptitude test inorder to improve your score.
Thanks

Hi Rachit,
Actually we do not advise students regarding what stream to opt for as we feel that it should be a decision based on your own interests and future goals.
However keeping in mind your profile and what you eventually aim for- in my opinion I think that one of our Marketing specs would be more appropriate.
Thanks
