Thanks for your reply. The intention for asking this question was to confirm whether I meet the cutoff required by SP Jain. If not I would apply for your internal aptitude test.

Also I have 1.5yrs work ex in IT , good academics and decent achievements and extra curricular. Then what else would be the reason for falling short on any of the criteria.

FYI the basic criteria is not just having a CAT score that meets our cut of ut a lot of other facotors are looked at as well.
We look at the academics, work ex, entrance test score, extra curriculars, acheivemnts etc - basically the entire profile as a whole before deciding to shortlist a candidate.

You may be falling short on any of the above and that could be reason of your being put on the waitlist

I appeared the telephonic interview on 11th feb for IT management. I just am curious to know how long does it take for the results to be out? I believe it is within 10 days( sometimes a week) so wanted to know. My interview had been good.

Hi,

I have a query regarding application.
I am trying to fill the application form online, and after filling all the details by clicking on Submit button nothing happens. I mean the browser does not direct me to another page which have details like application no etc.

Is there anybody who is facing the same problem?

yeah i faced this problem......just read this again....make adjustments n it ll work.

Note: Please do not use ( single quotes / apostrophe - ' or double quotes - " ) while entering details, as it may clash with the program.

Well my evaluation status page says:

"INITIAL SCREENING---WAITING LIST"

Can anybody tell me what r my chances of getting a call? How long does it usually take them to clear the waiting lists, if at all?

Hi,
Im doing good, thanks. Hope all good at your end too.

It wasnt me who called you.

It would take maybe a week or so more for you to know your result.

You would be informed via email ( if offered) and a hardcopy of the offer letter would also be sent to you

Hi,
All I can suggest is that you may pl be a little patient as this waitlist is reviewed from time to time as and when need be by the Admissions COmmitee and students found suitable are shortlisted for the evaluations.
But I cannot give you a fixed time frame as to when this happens. So you will have to wait a while to see if there is any change in your status

Your CAT score is fine and it meets our cut off- you need not take the apt test
