hellllooo!!!

nationalised bank managers ARE gazetted officers. My dad has been in SBI for 30 yrs now and he was and is one.
PS: go for a nationalised bank person...newbies,MNCs wnt work.

Err...I dont think so...Nationalised banks were created by a special act. The employees do not come under the gazette....And yea, by employees, i mean everyone manager upwards to the MD It usually happens that in some appln forms, they *tend* to accept the verification of a bank manager. But yea, if it is for a Govt application form that you need the attestation for, then find an officer who is in the gazzette.... :)

Cheers

Hehe....afaik, bank employees are not gazetted officers. For that you will have to go to some central govt establishments like the revenue dept or CSIR labs or your friendly neighborhood police mamu

Cheers

dude,

almost all government employed doctors are in the gazette, so just head down to the nearest govenrment hospital and get a seal from the doctor at the casuality or the Resident Medical Officer. also u could get it attested at the muncipal corporation too...

SAM

Folks, as we all know NMIMS is now a deemed university under UGC, hence it has to follow sarkari red tape like attestation, etc. The same rule applies to FMS. Avoid politicians like MLA's, MP's, etc. Only bureaucracts in Central and State Govts. are public sector gazetted officers, in addition to public sector units like BSNL, BHEL, SAIL, etc. Also do keep in mind that the gazetted officer should be Class-1, meaning a senior officer in the organisation. Please clarify this point before you get your attestations done.
These categories are in addition to the categories listed in this thread above. All the best.

Any senior professor or head/dean/prinicpal of a govt college/school is a gazzetted officer... so look for such a person in your locality....
