First of all thanks to the author for en lighting us about the seat distribution. I have some queries and will b grateful if the author helps According to "Business India" , Nov.2011 issue total seats in MDI is 476 But u are saying it as 335. Are the rest for executive mba? The same magazine says tot. seats in IMT-G is 470 , but u say it is 600 [yeah might have increased for 2012 , good for us any way:-)]

@ Ushnota Paul: seats reserved for Kashmiri Migrants in any institution and in any course are over and above the sanctioned intake. Hence, your calculation for SIBM Pune is wrong. Moreover, same is the case in TISS or MH-CET and everywhere else. Also, as pointed out by ajit10, international quota of 15% in symbiosis institutes is over and above the sanctioned intake. Please edit your article.

@ ajit10 and rkaul89: This is the link to SIBM Pune's intake criteria: http://www.sibm.edu/Programmes/MBAResidential.html Yes, the Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats children of migrants from J&K; valley and the 15% seats for International students is a reservation above the intake. Thanks for pointing it out. So that makes the number of reserved seats as 50 and the rest for the general category would be 134-135 seats. @ranbeer19: In MDI Gurgaon, apart from PGP, PGP-HR and PGP-IM, rest are executive programmes. Total number of seats for these three courses, as already mentioned in my article are 335. @Naveen bansal: Number of seats at IIFT is 231 for Delhi and 60 for Kolkata. NRI quota is applicable only for the Delhi campus.
