can anyone please tell me about ISEM?? requesting you guys.. i mean is it a good course (in placements view & future after course)or better to give next year cat????? placements???? Any chances of getting into a software company ?? (as it is related to industrial safety.. )

@swagat.sid 10th class 80%, 12th: 89%, btech(nit surathkal) 71%, total work ex : 3years.. 2 years in jspl (jindal steel)(projects & operations and resigned due to some family probs ) and now working in a software start up since jan13 (web technologies) banglore..

@vamc12 You have a good relevant profile for the ISEM course. The course is a very niche course which is designed to cater the growing needs of environmental,safety and health specialists in the market, but the requirement is still very much high. NITIE is by far the best institute offering such a course and since the batch size is lower the placements goes well. The average package is quite good and just slightly lower than the avg package of flagship course.

In future, the course can only grow , but right now industry don't have requirement of more than 50 EHS expert per year(half of which comes from NITIE).

Be very sure that you will be happy to join such a niche course, your profile really suits the course but still do not join just because you cleared the cutoff for this course. And very few software company comes for recruitment from ISEM (I know only 1).
