I am currently in my final year Engg. I am keen on joining TISS for post graduation in HRM&LR.; I would be giving the entrance test in JAN-14. I have following questions....

1. How do i prepare for TISS entrance test? (I have joined classes for CAT preps is that enough? )
2. Does work experience matter or no?
3. What does the GD-PI sessions focus on?
4. Whats the average cut-off?

Please can someone help?

from a placement perspective(though this should not be the main factor) Tiss provides companies and salaries on par with IIMs..the batch strength is around 60 and so everyone has abundant choice and get placed in cream companies...The fees too is very less like FMS...But IIMS have become very costly,have 400+ strength and the last 15% don't get placed anywhere..

hello puyzz need to gear up our prep n discussion too👍

hey puys... i m desperate about TISS... i want to know wat type of preparaton wil help me to reach tiss for hrm&lr....;

The usual sections of quants/di/lr/va/rc are very easy: a cakwalk.

The determining factor for clearing the cut off is your performance in gk/general awareness section.
Just as in the name of the college,this section is full of social science questions : history/geography/civics/economics and current affairs with emphasis on social sensitivity and curiosity and hence your preparation focus should be on these areas.
