I dont think they will do it... as it would take time and date has already been mentioned for the payment on website.

However the same can be confirmed from admission office.

Also ... ki farak padta hain... as its already mentioned in the website about selection.... :cheerio:

Heyy Nihit/Dark Miasma/n all other seniors,

I have been offered admission at merit 8 n i have a few queries :

1.Am i eligible for scholarship??.......This query had been answered in affirmation previously but a few posts in the earlier thread suggest that only the first 5 merits will be eligible for scholarship!!...........And if so what are the terms of the scholarship and is there a separate application for the same t be submitted within a deadline??

2.As a few posts in the earlier thread suggest that the 47 seats in the Gen category are going to be allotted on first come first serve basis??!!.....If true,then wont it be a problem if the merits after 47 pay their token of admission acceptance before the people ahead of them in the list?...If so wont there be a conflict resolution situation at hand and how is SPM admissions committee going to deal with it considering a situation IF me at Merit 8 plan to remit the amount only on 14th April...Hope my query doesnt seem illogical as it has not been mentioned on the website that the seats are going to be allotted on first come first serve basis as i understand!

3.Has there been a situation in your batch or the previous batches where in a seat hasnt been filled or claimed by someone in the waiting list after 29 March which is the last date for withdrawal of admission and hence the person who has withdrawn the admission hasnt been refunded the token amount??

I guess all these queries are genuine and will be faced by every MBA aspirant who has a bunch of crucial calls and is hanging with a noose of uncertainity tightening at snails pace around his neck.....Kindly give a frank feedback as it would be of great help to plan my further course of action!!

I share the exact concerns as above..I am 9th in the list..And also if 5 from the top are awarded scholarship..will dere be a case that if some from the top back off and dont take an admission..i will be eligible for scholarship???

I dont think so...its first come first serve basis admission ....

Otherwise they have delared the names and not merit Numbers....:cheerio:

Regarding Scholarship details are provided in website and i suppose in brochure too. Regarding your eligibility and all... i suppose the same can be confirmed from admission office as they would let you the exact situation whereas we can provide probable answers only.

I dont know about 1st come basis but if its there then it might be applicable for 47 seats out of 80 selected and regarding scholarship that will only be declared after admission.

Atleast was not the case in my batch.. i am not sure about my juniors. But do read the document/brochure regarding the same.. if its mentioned then they will adhere with it.

firstly congrats to all who have converted..well,i hav a query..its written dat v hav to giv a hefty amount before 15th..bt later on,after taking admission, if i wish to cancel my candidature,how much may i expect to get back..is there any canbellation policy..if there is,pls give me an idea..

Does obc bank give any concession in the rate of interest for educational loans..due to its tie up with the university..

It gave previously... donno about this time.. but the process is hassle free and the loan disbursement is very simple... easy... and convenient...

Yes! It will be a LITTLE on the lower side. Also, the process becomes as smooth as butter. No faaltu hassles.

I am planning to take admission on 11th/12th of this month. Now as there are 80 people who have been offered admission the 47 seats for general category can get filled up before I take admission. In that case I wouldnt be able to take admission inspite of being at merit list 20.

100k is a lot of money ... So can the seniors confirm if the FCFS holds or not..

There's a holiday today as it is Cheti Chand, so you will have to wait till tomorrow evening for my reply, as we will get free from our exams after 5 pm tomorrow.

it seems that you have to pay the Registration Fee, Deposits and Other Charges as prescribed and no tution fee..!!!

P.S. Call them up tomorrow!!
