Dear Applicant,
Congratulations on your success in the SPJIMR interview process so far. You have cleared round one and
have done well in round two of the admission interview.
The results will be processed in a few days. In the meanwhile, it is time we invite you for a day of
complete 'immersion' here at our institute.
The Immersion process at S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai is one of the
novel initiatives made by any business school in the country. Hereby, SPJIMR stands to show to the
world what it symbolizes, what are its strengths and weaknesses, the values and the environment that it
provides to nurture the students into polished and sophisticated managers.
It is a day you get to interact with our faculty and the existing participants. You will get a glimpse and a
flavor of what life at SPJIMR is and how it can impact your growth and development into professionals
who are well sought after by the industry.
The basic objective is for you to get a first-hand experience from a potential MBA participants
perspective as to why we are a coveted destination for management education for young people like
you. What is it about our ethos, our values, our processes and the learning environment we create - that
develop our participants into top-class talent for extremely demanding recruiters.
We seem to be doing something right as is borne out by our placement record, year after year,
irrespective of the market conditions.
We believe that your brief interaction with us will enable you to assess how we seek to create and
deliver value to our stake holders. At this juncture in your life an informed selection of your future BSchool'
will be one of the most important decisions in your professional life. The process of knowing us
better will facilitate a proper decision making process.
The Immersion is being organized on the 28th and 29th of February, 2012 (Tuesday & Wednesday) and
you will need to book one of the days of your choice at the admission portal
SPJIMR - SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. The slot booking for the same can be done from
22nd February after 3pm. However, we advise you to plan your travel arrangements right away.
For the outstation applicants, we will reimburse your travel costs to the maximum of 3A/C train fares
(both to and fro). Note that it is mandatory to submit a proof of your travel tickets to be eligible to get
the reimbursements. We will also provide for accommodation on a first-come first-serve basis. The
preference for accommodation can be filled along with slot booking.
The program will start at 9.30 am and end at around 6.00 pm on each of the days.
Please note that for 180 seats more than 500 candidates have been invited for the immersion. You
will appreciate that the Immersion initiative is not to be constituted as an offer for or a guarantee of
admission in any of our programs. At the same time, it is NOT a mandatory/evaluative component for
final admissions, and will, in no way affect your chances of getting selected.
We look forward to seeing you on one of the dates for the Immersion. We request a confirmatory
response (earlier the better) from your end to enable us to make the necessary arrangements.

Nope..if you won't be attending,just don't book the slots. You don't need to inform them alag se.

Puys....Just received the Official Immersion Call letter email also....I've replied with confirmation....:wow:
