I am sitting for MH-CET 2011 in February and would like to apply to K.J.Somaiya under all india seat..So I would like to know if I have to apply separately to this college or the entire selection is done during the counselling process of MH-CET.:lookround:
Besides I have also sat for CAT and XAT.So could you please tell me if K.J.Somaiya accepts scores of any other entrance exams and if yes what is the selection procedure.

The fees for the MMS course is 1,75,000 per annum. About the placements, the average at SIMSR is 7.5 lakhs. For more information regarding the same you can check out the "Mandatory Disclosure" page on the institute website.

The CAP round 1 cut-off for SIMSR for the 2010-2012 batch was 183 for the Home University Students and 181 for OMS students. For further reference you can visit the following link and view the relevant information :

Hi,
If you go %le wise, 183 would translate to approximately a written score of 150 (+/- 3), depending on what you get in your par/gdpi.
That according to last year was about 99.38%le.

%le is what is more important to know as the absolute score of cut offs vary from year to year depending on the difficulty level of the papers.

Also regarding placements, the avg figure has already been quoted.

Last year's gujju quota cut off was 171, after the entire wait list was cleared.
But this year's should be drastically less due to the difficult cet

Also, there are 34 HU seats through CAT.

Following are the documents you should be having handy post declaration of result :-
1) SSC Marksheet
2) SSC Passing Certificate
3) HSC Marksheet
4) HSC Passing Certificate
5) Graduation Marksheets
6) DTE Allotment letter. (Printout to be taken from D.T.E. Website when you are subsequently allotted a college after the GDPI scores are out)
7) Transfer Certificate (Candidates Graduated from University of Mumbai)
8 )Non Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable).
9) Domicile Certificate (if applicable), clearly indicating the place of permanent residence of the father/mother.
10) Nationality Certificate
11) GAP Certificate on Rs.100 Stamp Paper (format will be available on college website) (Notarized).
12) Proforma F (Page No.37 can be fill by PH1, PH2, & PH3 (Orthopedic Disorder) Proforma F (only to be filled by PH3 (Learning Disability) Candidates.
13) Vasti Patrak from Gujarati Community. (For G.L.M.S. Candidates).
14) Affidavit on Rs.100 Stamp Paper - (format will be available later on , on college website) (for G.L.M.S. Candidates) (Notarized).

The Gujarati Quota forms would be available after the declaration of your written exam results, say sometime in the second half of April.
