Hello,
It has been suggested that we as a group frame a study plan for the upcoming 10-15 days, and discuss the topics/questions/tips on the thread as well.
This is what we got so far.
Topics shortlisted : Time and Work (quant), Verbal Reasoning(va) and Logical Deduction (lr)
Time frame : 15 days.
Any thoughts/amendments on the topics / duration or any other suggestions, please reply to this thread.
We plan to finalize the study plan shortly, so please have your say !🍻
An interesting paradigm in quant problems (ratio)
For example : Incomes of A and B are in the ratio 4:5 and expenditures are in the ratio 3:4 respectively. If incomes are 400 and 500 and expenses are 30 and 40 respectively, B saves more.
However, in the case incomes are 400 and 500 and expenditures are 330 and 440 respectively, A saves more. A different scenario is observed when incomes of A,B are in ratio 4:5 and expenses in the ratio 5:6.
Can anyone generalize the observations here and the condition wherein we can determine who saves more given 2 persons, expense and income ratios ?
Folks,
here is a book, which is a must read for all MBA aspirants.
