Grilled about my favorite book-Sherlock Holmes as i had mentioned hobby as reading crimer/thriller books..asked me about a particular case, what values have you learnt from the book, what values does sherlock possess?
What are your plans after MBA? Included my BE project in this as i want to get into the field of technology innovation and my project was linked to it :D

Hi soumitrabengeri. Thanks for sharing ur experience. The GD was Case study based or normal GD. I mean had u write the summary after the GD ?

Last year it was a case study based GD so was expecting one this year as well..but they gave a normal GD this time..had to write a summary at the end.

Since mine was the last number in the panel, my process got over at 12 45. If your number is one of the first few, then you may even be done by 11.

Please my 1st post. I have mentioned the topic of the GD/
Normal duration for interview- 5 to 10 mins. Interviews were pretty short in duration.

GD topic-A case study on labour laws in India and the views of economists and socialists on it. Complete fish market. Nobody spoke to the point.

PI-I wasn't nervous as IMT isn't my dream insti. Took it like a mock interview. Went pretty well and I was asked the regular questions. Was pretty smooth.

What to wear--Formal clothes. Tie and suit are optional.

Sly did u take your certificates file with you??
did the PI panel looked at it and checked out your acads and did the ask you ques about your acads??

extracurriculars:- Award from Blog Adda for my blog post; Won an award in National Quiz

GD topic- Case Study about the relevance of labor laws in India. Laws are decades old and hence people can't be fired or hired as per company's wish. Hence companies are going to China. In US & UK, people who are fired are covered under unemployment insurance. Please suggest ways to overcome. (Gist of the case study)

10 mins given for thought. 10 mins for discussion. 5 mins for summary

15 ppl..Complete fish market GDs. Pitched in 3 times with 3 valid points.

PI-

15th person in group. Had to wait for a longgggggggg time.
Very general interview. More about my hobbies and about my work profile. Asked CEOs of banks(i was interested in Finance). People going to attend Hyderabad interviews, keep a track of trending topics in India. They may ask them too. Lot of ppl were asked questions on who is Fin Min, Commerce Min, IT Min and AP State's Fin Min and the like.

@blogger2mba hey Did you take your resume and ceriticate file along with you during interview? Are they checking it too ? And also if a person doesn't have passing certificates of 10th,12th and Grads but is having all the marksheets..will it create any problem as such !?
