You will 1st bring up the rankings by CNBC and then ask everyone to not discuss it as this is not the right forum!
Latest ET rankings where we have been rated 90th out of 100 Indian B-Schools is not being discussed.
:thumbsup:Pathetic unprofessionalism by this college in handling the admission process/results/dates is not being discussed.
:thumbsup:THe final placement report is not out yet, whereas colleges like FORE and MDI have put up elaborate and clear reports on their sites. Transparency in FOREs report is truly appreciable. Both colleges have clearly put up only last years companies. THe Interim report is a complete joke - any person who cracked the DI section can see that the numbers in the report dont add up!!
:thumbsup:The IMI website shows a billion companies that might have visited over the last 30 yrs...but nothing is mentioned about this years companies that have visited!

:cheerio:I would like to bring to everyone's notice - IMI has been ranked 90th in this latest survey by Economic Times. You may look up the Corporate Dossier supplement with ET. Rankings published by economic times have been validated by Ernst n Young and the research agency is IMRB (both Eny and IMRB) are regular recruiters at IMI, New Delhi...LOL!
:thumbsup:In 30 yrs you could atleast expect to be in top 30! Cant recall, but a recent ranking by some other paper put IMI at 48th rank! PG rates itself rates it 31st!
I would like IMI's views on ET's rankings ....cant wait to LMAO at what justification will be given for this.
As for aspirants
...dont say you werent warned...and esp those who are planning to quit their jobs for this...dont hold your breaths for this

I joined IMI last year leaving my 2 yrs work ex in IT job and Sarkaari Job(5.5L) option.. I am happy in IMI as far as Placements and Academics are concerned... however, i have raised my concern over a few things in IMI including Thursday mess food, Excessive work load by some faculty, Quizzes where average score of class was 34%, and also regarding the Electives faculty.. To my surprise most of these problems were solved pretty soon(except tough Quizzes)..
As far as rankings are concerned if u go by rankings then "Neha" you must join Amity, ****, or ABS.... from ur post you seem to be intelligent and so i believe that u must be aware of how these rankings are prepared. A sample size of 253 was used in ET ranking, which is not sufficient to judge 100 B-schools. If u r an aspirant u will learn this in Business statistics.. If u a MBA student, brush up ur Statistics...
well CNBC rankings, which used Objective survey method, found that IMI ranks at 6th position in Private B-schools...:cheerio:
Regarding Final Placement Report... Publishing Final placement Report before every student passes(read final term result) is illogical and unethical.... IMI was amongst the first to publish the interim report...
Aspirants who came to college for their GD/PI have met the Faculty, Seen the college and the smooth management during the process... I don't believe any aspirant needs ur Advice to decide on which college to join..
